Running & Strength Training

This week we wanted to chat with you about combining running with strength training!
Did you know that the NHS recommends adults should take part in two types of physical activity each week, aerobic exercise and strength training?

We know many women get put off strength training as they fear becoming bulky from building muscle or even muscle turning into fat if you stop. We can assure you that none of that is true.

Strength training, in fact, develops your muscles, which means that your body burns its fat reserves more effectively. As a result, a combination of strength training and running has the best effect on your performance – you push your body to a higher level.

In September we'll be running our full 6-week run and strength course, here are 6 great reasons to join us...
